Coach Reber came to the state of Florida and started the Florida Southern Women's Lacrosse program from its inception, after stints at Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA and St. Mary's College of Maryland in St. Mary's, MD.  During their first season in existence, it took the team until just their second game ever to upset the #10 team in the nation. Following that victory, Florida Southern has been ranked in the national polls every week over the past 5 years.  The team has had tremendous success in the short time they have been around.  In 2014, for the second year in a row, Katie Hammerer was named the DII Goalie of the Year, 5 players received IWLCA All-American honors and Reber was named the Independent Coach of the Year for the 3rd consecutive season. Along with those awards and many others throughout the past 5 seasons, the team has been awarded the IWLCA All-Academic Squad for their hard work in the classroom following every season of competition.  The 2016 season culminated with the team hoisting the National Championship trophy and finishing first in DII.  Coach Reber was named the DII National Coach of the Year, while Emily Santoli was named the DII Midfielder of the Year.  After just 5 year of competition, Florida Southern Women's Lacrosse has placed their name in the record books!
